Butler County is gearing up to celebrate a monumental milestone, the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026! The America 250 PA Butler County initiative is planning special events throughout the county to honor our nation’s founding and spotlight our vibrant community.

Upcoming America 250 Events:
Show Us Your Service:
Residents are invited to share photos of their community service efforts, whether it’s cleaning up EDCO park, volunteering locally, or helping neighbors. Submit your service photos to help shine a light on the spirit of giving that makes Butler County special.

Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s America at 250 Season:
Experience a new era in music as the Butler County Symphony Orchestra embarks on its 2025/26 season, focusing on America’s history and diversity. Season tickets are on sale now, with individual concert tickets available starting August 1, 2025.

A Journey Through Time: History Wall:
Visit the free “Journey Through Time” history wall, open to the public from March 3 to July 3. Tours are available Monday through Friday at downtown Butler locations, showcasing our community’s role in American history.

Music Under the Stars – Patriotic Concert:
Thanks to a $10,000 grant from America250PA, the Symphony will present an expanded outdoor patriotic concert—details to be announced!

Liberty Tree Project:
Learn about the roots of American independence and the iconic Liberty Tree with local events designed to engage all ages in our shared history.

Historical Marker Dedication:
Come see the newly installed DAR America 250 Patriots Marker at the Butler County Courthouse, commemorating Revolutionary War patriots and the quest for independence.
