The Butler County Commissioners have approved a budget of $1,230,000 for the renovation of White Bridge in Evans City Borough.

According to Kevin Gray, county planning, the funds will be used to make significant improvements to the bridge located on Maple Avenue.

The project will start at the beginning of the year and has been awarded to Brayman Precast and Carmen Paliotta Contracting, who won the bid for precast concrete deck panels for a total of $172,400 and $57,900, respectively.

The approval of funds for White Bridge’s renovation is a significant step forward in ensuring that the community’s public spaces are up-to-date and in compliance with current regulations.
