Evans City Hosts Spectacular Halloween Parade

On October 26, 2023, Evans City held a successful Halloween parade, continuing a tradition that has spanned for over four decades. Both children and adults lined up on the Main Street dressed in their best festive attire. The parade started at the Evans City VFW building, then moved along North Washington Street before turning onto Main Street.

Thrilled at the event, city residents were ready to rush for candies and treats tossed by parade participants. Cheri Deener, President of the Evans City Council, emphasized the continued popularity of this event, revealing that she herself used to be an eager attendee as a child.

The night ended with the crowd gathered in front of the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department, listening to a wonderful performance by the Seneca Valley Senior High School marching band.
