Did everyone notice that the parking meters in town are gone?

Borough Council is offering our residents the chance to purchase a maximum of 2 meters . Cost will be $50/piece. This is only open for a limited time before the remaining meters are put out to bid.

The meters will be unlocked for you, since it is illegal to copy parking meter keys. You may be able to change the lock yourself, or take it out completely.

Poles will not be included (we left those up along the streets!).

What might you do with an old parking meter? Perhaps as decoration, or you can make a lamp if you’re mechanically minded, or use it as a bank for all your spare change.

When you’re ready to purchase, call the Borough office or fill out the contact form here and the Public Works Crew will bring them to the office for you to pick up.
