Why Street Sweeping is Important
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) requires municipalities to routinely sweep streets. The goal is to control stormwater runoff and help prevent pollutants, such as trash, deicing materials, oils, and sediment, from entering local waterways. By participating, you help reduce pollution, protect wildlife habitats, and support clean water in Evans City.
If you have any questions about street sweeping or need assistance, please contact the Evans City Borough office. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Evans City clean and environmentally friendly.
